Dr Rajesh Modi

Dr Rajesh Modi is a renowned gynaecologist and a pioneer in 3D laparoscopic surgery for fibroids and uterine problems that require either a myomectomy (fibroid removal) or a hysterectomy (Uterus removal). He has refined the technique and made it a Day Care procedure.

Dr Rajesh completed his DNB in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the renowned Topiwala National Medical College & BYL Nair Charitable Hospital in 2001. He has pursued diploma in gynaecological endoscopy from the prestigious European University, Universite d’ Auvergne, France and diploma in pelvic endoscopy from Christian Albrechts University Kiel, Germany (JGES).

Dr Rajesh Modi has been a stalwart and has conducted numerous international workshops across the globe for his technique -Aqua Dissection for bloodless Myomectomy. He has conducted 50+ operative live surgical workshops throughout the country and has trained more than 1,000 doctors across the globe. He has more than 25 years of experience and has served as chairman of FOGSI Endoscopy Committee and is currently serving as the director of Akola Endoscopy Center and also practises at Nanavati Hospital, Mumbai.
